Due to its small administrative range, Nikoklia has very limited financial resources and -based on the old legislation -it was difficult to have any developmental projects.

Today, with the changing of the legislation, all the projects that the community asks for are done without any financial contribution by the village. Several projects have already been completed and delivered to the community's inhabitants. Some of those are:

1.	Replacement of the entire water supply network
2.	All the rural roads have been repaired.
3.	Asphalt paving of all the roads within the village.
4.	Replacement of all of the community's illumination lamps.
5.	Support-walls have been made in several points considered hazardous.
6.	Conversion of the old primary school into a Youth Centre as well as creation of the Community Council's offices.
7.	Fencing of the elementary school with a stone-made construction and its conversion into a playground.
8.	Paving the old school's yard.

The Community Council has already proceeded with the scheduling of new beautification projects for the village. Some of these projects are:

1.	Maintenance of the old water mill and the old fountain as well as conversion of the area into a park.
2.	Paving the church's yard.
3.	Vesting all the walls of the houses in the community's centre with local stone.
